I bought a cabinet as well as an over-the-stove microwave. How do I install them properly? Should I put in an outlet for the microwave by itself?

Make sure you are screwing your cabinets into a stud and your microwave should have came with a template. Follow all directions. They are kind of a pain to install. A lot of people put an outlet above the stove in the cabinet. Drill your hole from underneath and feed the cord through to the outlet, then finish installing the microwave. Hope this helped you out.
