Help! i need an electrician.?

Question

I have a belling double oven and 1 of the knobs (the 1 to my main fan oven)has snapped off at the metal rod that leads inside the cooker from the knob, so making it possible to turn the knob.Can i get a replacement and refit it myself,and is it expensive.Please help make it as cheap as possible,otherwise i will have to do without it.My cover has only just run out and its quite new.

Just get a replacement knob, remove the broken bit off the spindle and slide the new one on, aligning the flat sides.
