You don't ever need to douche. The vagina can naturally clean itself. Douching is unnecessary and very harmful.

While I agree with the other answerers that douching is unnecessary and possibly harmful...
The answer to your question is yes, you can douche while on the nuvaring. It will not interfere with the effectiveness of the hormones in the ring.

Douching won't really do any good.
The body will cleanse itself down there.
