I am a woman..who cannot understand this guy I met recently in my job. We've often flirted before and had a connection..he even told me he was falling for me one day when we chatted..then one day you know kisses etc but not sex (he tried, but Im the type that waits a bit) . Seems like the usual start of something but he didn't contact me next day, or next day, or next day!! I contacted him and suggested meeting up...and he replied...a few days later & its too late as I had left to go back to the state I live in. then he contacted me on and off but never talk about his feelings. now he is calling me to say he will come to see me (I live in another state) and I hear feelings in his voice. WHAT'S GOING ON IN THIS MAN'S HEAD? Is he a bit unstable? It seems strange to me. Mutual colleagues really like him. Did he feel rejected when I didnt move as quickly as him physically?

No, he is not unstable and that's one heck of a weighty term to be throwing around.
The most likely explanation does not involve mental instability or gender wars. It is probably due to the fact that his advance was cut off. He may have misread your cues, and is embarassed; maybe embarrased by your method of rebuffing him; maybe frustrated, maybe feels misled.
If you were embarassed or frustrated, chances are you would distance yourself until you came to terms with it. YOU initiated the contact after the incident, maybe that was enough for him to know he hadn't p'd you off.
Of course he isn't going to 'talk about his feelings'. Men and women are different. Women are hyper-analytical and men are more take it at face value and move on. You can't judge him by the standards and expectations you have for yourself. Also, the genders' appetites and attitudes toward sex are different. This is the way we were born. You can't fight hundreds and hundreds of years of evolution.
What you would do is not necessarily what anyone else would do and no one way is wrong. It would be as ridiculous for you to deride him for his advance as it would be for him to deride you for your rebuff.
If you think you can carry on a long-distance relationship, give it a try. Perhaps after a few dates you can both laugh at how you were BOTH thinking the other was nutty!

Sounds normal to me. One thing is that women tend to expect daily communication whereas men don't see a huge problem if a few days slide by. Another is that it takes a guy time to work up the courage to call a woman, especially if he's at all shy or insecure.
It sounds like YOU'RE the one who is over reacting a bit. If you like the guy, cut him some slack and relax and see where things lead and don't freak out if he doesn't communicate exactly when and how you think he should.

he sounds a bit unstable and you would do well to avoid him. you were perfectley within your rights telling him to slow down, but it sounds as though he thinks he has some sort of claim on you. as i said before he does not sound like the type of person you would want to get involved with, what will he be like if you do sleep with him.
