I am a vegetarian and I couldn't be happier. I think that it is a life choice and I dont think any less of people who eat meat. I get really grossed out and I also get really down when people are rude about the eating of meat and all the cruelty that goes on. I just wish that people were less ignorant when it comes to those types of things. I also think that if you ate natural meats like from whole foods were the animals are cage free and lived good life's, you would feel allot better about what you are eating. I have an uncle who is a great uncle but he loves meat and every time we have a family function there is always meat and he always is rude to me about that and he says well the animal is already dead, so you can eat it and he just doesnt understand.

Vegetarians don't eat meat, so I guess I'll survive as a vegetarian as long as the food served doesn't have any meat in it - plus, not forgetting, our 8 glasses of water a day!

The day I become a vegetarian is the day I decide to go on a hunger strike. No offense to vegetarians, it's just I'm wired differently.

Everyone could and would probably be a lot healthier, or at least a little healthier. BUT that being said, I am an omnivore and I love my steak, chicken and other little helpless animals.

What would I say to a vegetarian--Look out for the Green beans at the crapper barrel. They have bacon fat in them.

To each his own.

I can and have in hard times. I've learned how to balance meals. Which isn't hard Beans + Grains = Complete proteins, greens and fruit supply vitamins.

That's the diet most people have survied on through most of history with meat as a flavoring and occasional treat.

Given my druthers though, I'll take red meat and white fish.

I've been one...twice now. It's not hard to survive and some of my favorite recipes are still vegetarian ones.

Since I'm not a vegetarian any longer, I'll address what I have to say to both groups...."hi".

Yeah I guess I would. I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't eat meat a lot. Vegetarians can be vegetarians, as they do no harm to the world.

I would never survive as a vegetarian...I love meat!
I'd have to say that I think it's pretty cool that they made a choice on not eating meat because they're murdering animals..but forgive me, I must eat meat.
