I think I'm more of a rebel/non-conformist than a free spirit....I've been told so as well.

not too much for it seems my spirit is grounded by many chains. physical, emotionally, mental, material.....my spirit suffocates under the weight of the chains that are bound to it.

I would say pretty much. there's a lot about me my family doesn't know about, or knowing would approve. but if they found out, I wouldn't care that much.
