To a certain extent, I think it does. However, black does not mean emo. Some people wear black simply because they like the color. Some might think it looks goth or emo. Others feel that black is sophisticated. A woman that I work with wears dark colors often because she thinks it makes her look slimmer.

Black is the most i wear all the time. I just got a pair of Blue Jeans. I haven't worn blue jeans in years. I am a plain person. Not very extravagant. i do believe clothes reflect who you are!
