Yes. I have a friend who is miserable all the time and tries to bring people down b/c she feels as though she doesn't have it as good as everyone else. I often times wonder what I would do if I was in her shoes. I don't think I have it all that great, but she made the choice to drop out of college and start working. Now her friends are making more money and have a career instead of a dead end job and she's sees the mistake she made. I really hope that I wouldn't begrudge my friends for having a better quality of life than myself. I have friends that have better jobs than me, make more money than I do and I definitely don't rain on their parade. I'm happy for them for being successful this early in the game. I just wonder where she gets off being such a turd.

Anytime I am going to make a harsh criticism of someone, I try to look at things as though I were in their shoes. Then after I do that--I blast them.......
