Well, after looking at this question, I thought...Hum, my musical taste is really varied, so that would mean that I would be a very versatile person. Just to do a double check on what I was thinking, I pulled up the list of what I had on my I Pod and scanned down through the genres listed. I found Pop, Rock, Punk Rock, Classic Rock, Light Rock, New Age, Jazz, Folk, Soundtracks, Country, Classical and Opera. LOL Definitely no Hip Hop or Rap. I don't like all of any genre, but I like some of a lot of different ones. But my favorites that I listen to the most would be as follows:
Classical cello artists Yo Yo Ma, Mstislav Rostopovich, and Julian Lloyd Webber (I use to be a cellist until arthritis in my bow thumb made playing excruciatingly painful)
Classical guitar artists Julian Bream, John Williams, Christopher Parkening (I'm currently learning to play classical guitar...from Duchess)
Classical Violinist Joshua Bell because he is a fantastically talented young musician and really good looking to boot...LOL

No, I don't totally agree with that. There are simple people out there that simply listen to one genre of music. Me.....I listen to just about anything. The 80's were the bomb. You had the greatest R&B artists, you had the best Rock & Roll artists and then you had the alternative music that fell inbetween. I can listen to country, but only certain artists for a limited amount of time. I also love classical and opera. Today my favorties are Mary J. Blige (the true queen of hip hop/soul), and Wyclef Jean (the Hatian that understands the changing sounds of today). I also love U2, Santana, and the Goo Goo dolls. Come to think about it, I love music period.
So.....if I liked all kinds of music how does that affect my personality? I think if people heard me listen to one genre of music they would try to match me with that, and then they'd miss out on a lot more.
Sorry, just an opinion!!

I like alot tof 80's rock(or around there) by Balck sabbath, Def leppard, Metallica, guns N Roses, Poison, Alice Cooper, ect.. BUT I also Like whatever carrys a good beat and catches my attention.. I really have an appreciation for all kinds of music, But Rock is my favorite
But if people judged me by alot of the music I listen to, they'd probably find it hard to believe I'm just a happy go lucky, peaceful Christian ^_^
