I have just stopped taking ortho tri cyclen lo and I was wondering if anyone else was on this and how long did it take for your cycles to get normal and how long did it take for you to conceive?

I was on Ortho-Tri Lo for 7 years and I got pregnant right away. I guess that means my cycles went back to normal immediately, but I never knew because I never had another period again.

Both times on this birth control I stopped taking it 3 months beofre I wanted to conceive, per doctor's suggestions. My period came a month later both times. I got pregnant the first month I tried with my daughter, and the 2nd month I tried with my current pregnancy.

i was on it for a long time let me think... 8 or 9 years. I got pregnant about six weeks after I came off, unfortunately I miscarried. My doctor thought the miscarriage was due to just coming off the b/c. (I had been bleeding that whole time, no period but continuous light bleeding. It was so wacky and I was absolutely shocked to know I was pregnant) So anyway dear one, please heed my advice and wait a month to ttc if you feel your cycle has not yet returned to normal.

It's different for everyone,but anywhere from 3 to 6 months is normal.
