Florida is a clean indoor air state. There is no smoking permitted in any indoor public area. It is actually against Florida law. At the theme parks there is no smoking anywhere except for designated areas. This is because of how crowed the parks can be and it would be difficult for someone waiting in line for food or a ride to avoid smoke from a near by smoker. The areas are marked on the park maps and are away from lines and main walkways. If you are caught smoking away from a location you will be asked to extinguish the material. Multiple requests are grounds for removal from the park. If you smoke while walking however it is not likely you will be addressed unless another guest complains.

Smoking is permitted at restaurants and bars that have an outside patio set up. At the parks, as mention there are designated smoking areas at each park. Non of the on-site restaurants allow smoking in or around them though. Most businesses, malls, shopping outlets etc are non-smoking and signs are posted so customers will know. Hope that helps clarify things for you.

In addition to the above, you also cannot smoke inside any Disney Resort hotel rooms. The entire Resort is non-smoking in their accomodation. There will be designated smoking areas outside though.
