Books with similar story lines to Xenosaga?

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone knows of books with similar indepth storyline like Xenosaga. I'm not talking about the novels that the game was based on, but just books that are completely unrelated to the series. Thanks.

The only 2 that come to mind are Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick and Brave New World by Aldous Huxely. Neither book is quite like Xenosaga since they aren't really epic adventures but both books address issues of human morality which I found to be a prevalent theme in Xenosaga. Either way, they're both worthy reads even if they aren't quite what you're looking for.

I admittedly don't read a lot though.
