It wont let me check my voicemail until I record a message saying "hey its bren thanx 4 callin Ill get back to ya as soon as I can'' except I need more ideas.and also, does anybody know how i can get to that talking lady where u type in words on the computer says it outloud???

You should say "Hello?", pause, "What was that?", pause, "I'm sorry, I can't hear you" or whatever so they think you're actually on the phone!
Haha it can be REALLY funny... But only if it's your friends/ family who use the number!

Oh! I remember that lady :] I used to know how to do it, but i think I forgot. Try to go to control panel and click on sounds.

just record that message, if you do the automated voice she could mess up everything you type or you could do the: your call has been forwarded to an auto matted voice machine (your voice says "Bren" here) is not available please leave a message after the tone

give your friend the phone and let them record it. XD thats what I do. haha. My friends voice mail has me going 'hey it's Toni, I can't answer my phone so leave a message after the tone" and then mine is "hello, you've reached savannah, I can't answer my phone right now so leave me a message. byes." in her voice. hahah. If nothing else you confuse a few people adn get a good laugh.

Just say, "This is Bren. Listen to the nice lady tell you how to leave me a message."
Also, to get to the voice narrator, click START, then ACCESSORIES, then ACCESSIBILITY, and then NARRATOR.

just go with something normal. I hate when people try to be cute. Think about all the different phone calls you will be getting. Not everyone thinks funny messages are funny

Your idea sounds pretty good, what else are you looking for. Gaudy vm greetings are pretty annoying anyway, most people just want to leave a message and move on with their day.

Once I just recorded myself laughing for my voicemail but my husband complained, I thought it was funny. That was my cell phone though not my home phone.
