We found an old sketching by artist John Sloan to a relative, who was sculptor from Bucks County PA, and a classmate of Sloan. The piece has an inscription reading "New Years greetings, 1915 from Dolly and John Sloan". The dimensions are 3.5 by 2 inches. The piece can be viewed at

Hi... it appears to be an etching. It seems that he sent out holiday greetings in this form. Here is a range of prices for his etchings that should serve as a guide to its relative value.
