Ohhhh no! Gardenia Girl ... "Let's Get it On" is Marvin Gaye not Al Green. That's sacreligious! lol (I'm only teasing ya!!) Al green's biggest hit was "Let's Stay Together". I LOVE that song.
This is a hard question Ms. Judy. I love both! I don't think I can pick. They're a bit different really ... Hall and Oates is soulful but a bit more "Pop" and Al Green is soulful R & B all the way! It all depends on the mood I'm in really. One of my aunts whom I really love and admire is a HUGE Hall and Oates fan so whenever I think about them I smile because it reminds me of her and she is one of THE most amazing people you could ever hope to meet.
So I say it's a tie ... depending on the time and the circumstance. If it happened to be a sexy moment with a hot guy, however, Al Green would win ... hands down! LOL
Peace to you sweetie ...

I used to like Hall and Oates, but I guess I either got tired of them or moved on to a different kind of music. Al Green has really got a great, smooth, jazzy type voice, especially when he sings, "Let's Get It On!" You can tell where my mind is today. lol.
