You'll need to bring him to court to have the papers adjusted. Make sure that you also get child support out of him.

If this is how he truly feels, get it on tape. Then get an attorney to draw up the papers and ask him to sign.

But keep in mind, this means no support ever. And it means when he changes his mind later on, he can't come visit unless you allow it.

And either way your child will be hurt. She will hurt with him around saying those things and she will hurt without a father. She will also hurt later on when he changes his mind and puts the entire blame on you. That is why you should get it on tape and save the tape for when she is over 21 and still ragging on you.

In the meantime, never ever utter a bad word about him to anyone. This only hurts your child. She will find out eventually and does not need to hear it from you. She also doesn't need to overhear you telling others or have someone repeat what you said about him.

Work hard, love her, and take care of her on your own and be positive. Show her that you can do anything on your own if you work hard.

Get full legal, and medical custody of the child. Thats everything. Talk to a judge, and you get them in full.

Make him pay child support and alimony. The rights don't give him any lack of responsibility to the kid or wife. They remove future power, but not present responsibility.

Whether its a line, or a genuine feeling, your responsibility is to protect, and care for that child. The first step to doing that is removing them from the crushing words of the jerk.

Hearing words like that can crush a kid for life. You never fully recover. They haunt you 50 years later.

Your ex knows that. Some divorces get brutal, and ugly. It sounds like yours has. As a caring parent you have a responsibility to protect your child from that.

Good luck.

Yes if he is such a jerk that he feels that way you just need to go to court. He can sign over his parental rights. Once that is done you don't ever have to be bothered with him again. He won't even be able to get visitiation.

Note: Remember that just because he may give up his parental rights does not mean he gives up his parental responsibility. Make sure that S.O.B pays support!

Yes you can have papers drawled up for him to sign his rights over but here where I live rather you sign the rights over or not you still have to pay child support. Your child doesn't need him for a father anyway..he sounds like he is a complete @ssh0le! Good Luck!!

If he is that cruel to punish his daughter, then he doesn't deserve to be her father. He can sign away all parental rights to the child. But that will not necessarily relieve him of his obligation to financial support her!!

You need a good lawyer to help you with this.

The best thing you can do is get a lawyer, I know they can get pricey but maybe you can have legal aid help you. All you do is file a petition and have it written up as he is to sign over rights to you. This way you don't have to worry about the jackass ruining your daughters life!

Hire a lawyer and file papers to terminate his rights. Of course that means you will not be getting child support from him either.
