Musharraf has not done anything significant to find Osama Bin Laden. It's all smoke and mirrors.
It's all "lip service" but very soon I think the population will be calling his hand. I think he was totally behind Bhutto's assassination. Of course the media hasn't checked it out because right now the current story sells papers.
I think America has been dealt a Pig in a Poke, again. When will we ever learn. Dictators should never be our friends. They are there for life. Our Presidents are there for maximum of 8 years! What's wrong with this picture.

Musharraf is not an employee of the United States. He is dependent on our military aid (although he was not before 9/11... he made a calculated and educated risk to embrace the US after 9/11 since he knew that a lot of extremists are within his borders... a decision that saved Pakistan from American invasion and saved us from a bigger mess if that happened). Any Pakistani politician within that nation would have to do what Musharraf has done.... he has been walking a tight wire and has had to play all sides. That region is very complex and political power is not protected like the American system.
And apparently the American government understands that or we would not be paying him biliions and billions of dollars in military aid.

His gov't has been crucial in the capture of several key Al Qaida operatives including the man who planned 9/11.
And if Bin Laden is where we think he is, Musharraf has no control over that area. It is a lawless region and always has been.

Musharaf has done nothing to find OBL. He has used the military and economic aid Bush gave him not to fight al-Qaida but to oppress the Pakistani people.
Example: when Bhutto first returned to Pakistan, there was an attempt on her life. What did Musharaf do? Against the terrorists--NOTHING. He declared a "state of emergency" and sent his storm troopers to attack peaceful pro-democracy demonstrators. He shut down the independant media. He placed Bhutto under house arrest.
Another point--its a well-known fact (both Bhutto and the US intelligence agencies have pointed this out) that the high officials in the Musharaf regime support the terrorists. And note that Musharaf, who is supposed to be our ally, won't allow US forces to go after al-Qaida in Pakistan.
Does ANYONE not realize that the terrorists killed Bhutto on Musharaf's orders? He is working with the terrorists, notagainst them.

He made a map of Kashmir with an X over the cave in which Bin Laden was hiding. Then he copied the map onto a CD and posted it to the British Army. Unfortunately the Customs lost it and it's probably on a landfill site somewhere in China by now.

Bush is a smart man. He likes Musharraf so there must be alot of good in Musharraf. Bush has made America the strongest and greatyest cuntry in world. We must reelect Bush and Cheney anbother 8 years soi we can start a war with Russia, China, France and Germany all at the same time and introduce democracy there.

Nothing. He probably has OBL over for brunch every couple of weeks. OBL is Musharraf's meal ticket for collecting to date, $11,000,000,000 from the Bush administration.

Bin Laden is probably with George Bush in the white house
Isn't that why he hasn't been mentioned on the news since Saddam was being searched for?
Come on Americans
Please wake up!

For all the billions of $ that Bush gives him, he hands over 2or 3 men a year that he claims are Al Qaida operatives.
The USA then takes these men, imprisons them for several years while torturing them, then they release them. After they get released after 5 years of torture they sign up with the terrorist to get revenge on the USA.
