No, but the Supreme court ending the countless recounts, that showed Gore a loser in Florida every time by the way, did spare us from having that pompous blowhard in office during a critical time in our history.

Could be, it would seem the "military industrial complex" had other much grander plans for the country that Gore probably would not have been party to. The thing I find absolutely inconceivable is that those Diebold machines give no record or receipt of a persons selections- WTF?? The machines are plenty capable of producing receipts if they want them to, so one must really wonder, why no receipt??? Electronic voting machines in Europe DO produce a voter receipt, what's up???

just an interesting note; how in 2006, the CEO of diebold bailed out with his golden parachute as the talk of hackable voting machines was speading

Yes, they would have tried to kill Gore. He was a man who spoke in complete sentences, and that usually frightens the skeerty boys.

No, he was a corporate candidate, it is only since he left the political arena that it has been possible for him to pursue his enviromentalism. If he had taken office, his hands would have been tied.

The only reason Al Gore would have been declared a winner was if he and his massive team of lawyers had been successful in discounting the military vote and the absentee voters. Florida is a Republican state, and the last election was no different, in fact they picked up republican seats.
