LCDs are Digital, not Analog, like older CRT Monitors and only work properly at their native resolution. CRTs could use any number of different resolutions.

Go to the Monitor Manufacturer's website and look up you Model number. Then, find the "Native Resolution". It may be 1280 X 800 or similar.

You must use ONLY that resolution and 60hz for "Horizontal Frequency".

Why? LCDs are Digital, not Analog, like older CRT Monitors and only work properly at their native resolution.

Hello! I don't know which image viewer program you use but make sure you remove options like "stretch image to fit screen" since you now have a wide screen.

And like the other guy suggested, make sure you set your display properties to display at the native screen resolution. I you need help with that, ask the people who sold you the stuff.

Good luck!
:)
