It sticks to your feet but I'm not sure if I should mop it or what.

Don't put vinegar on your hardwoods! It strips the finish off. Good for windows and the inside of your appliances but not wood floors. You can get free formica chip samples at Home Depot, use that to scrape the mess off the floor, the chip will not scratch the floor. Then spray a little WD-40 on a rag and wipe the area. To make sure the area is not slippery, use a little dish soap like Dawn, put in on a sponge and rinse the suds through the sponge, squeeze all the water out so it's a little more than damp and wipe the area. Also the worst thing for your hardwood is water. Sweep, dry mop and then damp mop. Good luck, I hoped this helped you out.

When we had our wood floors refinished, they told us to clean with a solution of 2 parts water to 1 part of vinegar. You could try that (vinegar is a very good cleaner). You don't have to mix up a whole bucket of it. Try maybe 1/2 cup of vinegar with 1 cup of water. Use a rag or paper towel and let it sit on the lime juice for a while then you should be able to wipe it right up.

I'd like to know what you've been doing lately???? first you need to fix dents in your bedroom wall now this!

woah-- you must lead an interesting life!

I'd try something like De-Solve-It, an organic citrus solution. It's used to remove 'sticky' situations like labels and can be used on a variety of surfaces, except cork or other porous materials. Works great on wood providing that it is a finished surface!
