Used to do the "see where the bubbles came out" thing with my Tiny Tears doll. She used to drink and wee and cry.
My brother used my dolls for leverage when blackmailing me....he would threaten to drown, burn, throw out of a window, rip their arms and legs off....so that I would own up to something he'd done and get the beating instead of him!

Oh yeah, I think every child has done that at least once. Too much of that on television I believe. Grew up with those soaps on that mom had to watch and someone was always getting offed .

I found fire was more effective. Drowning them in a pool of lighter fluid ( oh no, Mr. Bill ! ) than setting them a blaze.Sort of like 'toy cremation '

Yeah, my 'floatie toys' in the tub. I always wanted to try to make them go under the water, but they'd bounce right back to the top. That just fasinated me.---Luvs

When I played with my Barbie doll while bathing, I'd pretend she was drowning so Ken could save her. Then they got to kiss! So romantic.

Yes! When you had dolls that could drink and pee, a girls would always try to drown them to see where all the bubbles might come from.

No, of course not.

But I did try to get the first Ken in space with a skyrocket.

Another problem with the navigation system.

"Houston, we have a problem".
