A big box that I have just for that purpose that I keep on a shelf in my garage. It keeps my stuff safe and it's not in the way. I pull stuff out every now and then that's been in there awhile and I give it away to the Salvation Army or sell it at a rummage sale.

If I don't see myself using them ever and they are in good condition
1)Put them on ebay ,see if anyone else wants them ...
2)I give them away...salvation army or good will.
If I can't do either of them...throw it away
