Ok this is really weird and quite embarrasing, but for about three years from 7-10 lets say, I thought I had AIDS, I was absolutley convinced (don't ask why) that i was gonna die. I used to have these terrible pannick attacks in the middle of the night and end up downstairs in the kitchen hyperventillating. My mum would get mad and yell at me but I couldn't bring myself to tell her what was terrifying me. I would cry at night convinced i would start getting sick and die at any moment. By the time i was 10 I was a nervous wreck. I would feel sick if anyone mentioned it at school and would secretly write little wills so i could bequeath my savings to whoever. then one day I checked my facts and was so relieved that I went on this big naughty spree and got myself in
trouble at school just coz I wanted to enjoy life. I never told a soul that was the reason. I bet that is the most pathetic thing you hear all day. It was so sad and dumb. I get quite upset when I think about how much fear i spent my childhood in because of that. I've never told a soul. Strange the things you admit anonymously isn't it?
EDIT: I can't believe that about alicat, is that true?!

I was forced to watch Poltergeist in 3rd grade and teased because I looked like Carol Ann. I slept in my parents room till I was 14 because I was so damn scared of my closet and the dark! Im 30 now and I cant get enough of scary movies lol

I was opposite of everything i am now..... total menace and cluts. I used to leave my dad car windows when going through the car wash and it filled with foam. Became an unexpected bully due to peer pressure and sucked in education. I was a child to hate and child to love xxxxx

Ha ha. I have a few fun (= embarrassing) anecdotes I could tell you, but I think I'll spare myself the humiliation.
You'd have to ask my sister. She'd be THRILLED to tell you those!
What I will say is that I learned to read at four, with little help from anybody.

I got my first mobile phone when i was 12 years old - and trust me, it WAS the size of a brick.
(I don't believe that children as young as 5 now have mobiles)!

when i was 4 until at least 9, i was used to be teased by all my cousins. they tickled me until it's hard to breathe, telling stories and lies that scared me to death, joke that is too harsh for a sappy little girl. family gatherings arent complete without i went home crying. and now i turn out to be like my cousins. sigh.
