Sounds like one of two possible problems, either there is a problem with your internet account (maybe your service provider can help), or your wireless router maybe faulty. I assume you have already re-booted the router, if not try switching it off for a few minutes then switch it back on and let it run it's start-up routine. These are usually the most common causes for the symptoms you have described. Good Luck!

it ought to be your firewall yet I doubt it. i've got only had this situation on a public connection. indexed right here are some issues you're able to attempt: Assuming you're employing domicile windows XP pass to commence > Run and sort cmd interior the container, press enter and then on the instantaneous sort ipconfig and notice in case you have been assigned a valid IP address. you will get something that looks like this: IP address...........192.XXX.X.X Subnet mask........255.XXX.XXX.X Default Gateway..192.XXX.X.X If quite a number of of those numbers are lacking, it rather is nevertheless accessible to have an lively connection devoid of actual having the ability to connect. the least complicated answer to attempt is repairing the relationship, interior the gadget tray, suited click the instantaneous icon and choose restoration, enable the approach to artwork and notice if it fixes the relationship. If no longer... Your older computing gadget won't help "blended mode". All G routers function in "blended mode" by skill of default. blended mode enables help for G/B gadgets yet some older B gadgets are actually not nicely suited with "blended mode". attempt placing the router for B only mode (you will could desire to ascertain your instruction manual on a thank you to try this). See if that works, if no longer... attempt resetting your cable/DSL modem and router by skill of unplugging them for 60 seconds, inclusive of capacity. Then plug each thing lower back in and notice if the relationship works. the final element you opt to attempt is a hard reset of the router yet then you definately'll could desire to configure all of it over lower back. It would not look like there is any situation with the router itself.

I have a different router, but i sometimes get the same problem!
Errors build up over time, which can cause problems. Its nothing to worry about ....... s**t happens.
All you need to do is log off. Turn your router off at its power supply. Count to 10, and turn back on. All should be OK. (Anyone with a sky dish will know the routine!)

I'd suggest that you try to visit a few different websites on your browser and see if it lets you visit them.
If not, then I'd suggest that you try to clear you cookies and cashe. (You may also want to try clearing other things as well.)
If you still can't access the Internet, then I'd suggest that you try to reset your router by unplugging it for about fifteen seconds or so and then plugging it back in.
Hopefully then, you'll be able to surf the Internet again!
Good luck and I hope I helped you!

Have you tried unplugging the power to the router, wait 10 secs and plug it back in? IT sounds like something in the settings needs to be reset.

emm this wireless router, if it's connected to a modem you'll have to specify a DNS setting using the IP adress of your modem.
