6% = 6 / 100

so,
(100% + 6%) / 100 * 18.95

106 / 100 * 18.95

= 20.09

This is an easy way to figure it out
(these are fractions)
x 6
- * -
18.95 100
you would then cross multiply
x*100 =18.95*6
100x= 113.7
divide both sides by 100
x= 1.137
1.14+18.95 = 20.09

$18.95->20.0897
$19.83 ->21.0198
$20.09 ->21.2954
$19.01 ->20.1506
$20.78->22.0268
u basically devide by 100 to get 1% and then times by 106 to get 106% (100% + 6%). u might wanna round up

$18.95 + $18.95 x 6%
= $18.95 + $18.95 x 6/100
= $18.95 + $113.7/100
= $18.95 + $1.137
= $20.087
≈ $20.09
