Definitely the night before Christmas when we sent the kids to bed. We could see the anticipation on their faces. It reminded me of how monumental Christmans was to me when I was a kid... I could barely sleep!

Our city was blessed with a freak snow storm that caught us
all by surprise on Christmas Day. It began as we arrived at
our daughters home. And it continued through the gift ex-
change, on through the dinner hour. And when later we pre-
pared to leave, the snow came to a fizzle and then stopped
altogether. Right on cue, the same way it arrived. It enhanced
our day so perfectly. And made this Christmas memorable.
It was the first time, since 1937, that snow fell and covered
not only our city, but Portland, Oregon as well. So we all had
a little miracle added to our personal celebrations this year.
And it will be a Christmas year alot of us won't forget any too
soon.

I went away the weekend before Christmas and came home on Christmas eve. It was great being back home in my own house, fixing some of my favorie things to eat, and enjoying the quiet time with my friends on Yahoo Answers. Happy New Year!

The end of the day reflecting on opening the gifts, watching my disabled husband carve the turkey even though he struggled to do so he wanted to be "the man of the house".
Thinking on lunch with friends and family and how good it was this year as opposed to other years when Christmas has been so awful.
