I've learned that it's never wise to take anything or anyone for granted because it could be gone tomorrow, or today for that matter . It's always been my belief that appreciating every single day, finding something good about it, and letting those you love know you love them, is the best way to be truly happy.
.
Don't worry about the "small stuff" in life because in the long run it's not really important at all!. It's a waste of energy and will rob you from focusing on what's truly important. Laugh more!

Do not hang around with negative or spiteful people who have nothing good to say about anyone or anything. ( or marry them either!)

As much as you would like to, you can't take care of all of the problems in this world so start with what you can change in your own life and go from there. Make a positive difference in someones life, even if it is small. That includes kindness to animals who are neglected and need to be rescued and loved! I've had, and continue to have many that share my life.

Do not hold grudges. It hurts many people. I've seen too many wish they had not wounded others in this way and burned their bridges behind them.Worked as a Hospice volunteer for 2 years and heard many regrets from those who "wished they could go back".

I think there is wonderful value in accepting others exactly where they are. I don't need to judge them because we all make mistakes, we all have weakness and flaws. Let God do the judging.

Hold on to faith because it will see you through many low points in life. Don't let discouragement weaken it. People change, life situations change, but I've always found that the God of my faith has remained the same always.

Don't want to write a book here, but I'll close by saying that being a grateful person and focusing on the good is very important. We will all go through heartaches, hurts and losses in life. Focus on the little blessings that are there every day if you open your eyes to them....And... if you find that one true friend who sticks by you always and loves you always, hold on for dear life and let them know they are special!!

I'm 62 years old.

Always look for the best in the worse conditions.

Keep your heart and mind on the good things in life and don't dwell on the bad.

I've never thought that there was anything that I couldn't do.

Always acts as if it is impossible to fail and God will see you through. There is a toughness inside of us, an inner power, put inside of us by Almighty God. Being born again, when we really change in a God way, everything, I mean everything changes. Cleaning out the human mind and restoring it through faith in God, removes guilt, and punishment and failure. The Word of God trains, teaches and through long perseverance we overcome the world.

Don't water your faith down with doubts, because believing gets amazing results. Trust God always!

and i've learned that you have to really believe in your goals to achieve them. that no body can tell you that you're not worth any thing. that you're parents are so much more understanding and forgiving than you think. that you shouldn't keep secrets from the ones you love. you shouldn't keep your feelings bottled up inside. ive learned that i can do lots of things if i set my mind to it. that people change. that you're siblings grow up so quickly. that the saying "broken heart/ heartache" are actually physically painful.

that when you really love someone, nothing in the world can make you think otherwise. i've learned that you're true friends stick by you through thick and thin. and that life is full of ups and downs. it's ok to make mistakes, and when you fall you should just laugh at yourself and then get up.

and most importantly, treat others in the way you'd want them to treat you.
