Would you rather see more men's boobs or would you rather all women covered up? Be careful what you wish for.

It makes no difference anyway - you still get leered at if you have large breasts. I never wore anything lowcut as a young woman, but I got leered at constantly anyway.
There was a time a few hundred years ago when there was a fashion in England of breasts out (presumably one summer) and I remember reading about a man complaining that if it wasn't for sale then why was it on display in the 'shoppes'. Which goes to show that very little has changed in attitudes since the 16th century.

It's simply human nature.

People have hormones and are naturally attracted by something that is not easily accessible (like breasts or sexuality, for instance).

If I would be a girl, I would love to show out them, by a cleavage, just because it would make me feel good. It's just natural. Some people want to be more covered and that's fine, some people just want to show them off.

ADD : Plus breasts are wonderful, and add a lot of curves, and charm to the body.

Americans are the only people in the world that view breasts and the human body as something vulgar and pornographic.

Great art shows the beauty of the breast. Many countries have nude beaches, nude swimming areas etc... The breast is the beginning of life, all of natures mammals feed from them. It is what is in the mind and not the eyes that makes the difference between admiring the beauty and lusting for them. I remember when I was stationed in Germany. There was a mixed sauna in which everyone was nude. You were fined 40 marks and ejected if you got an erection, because your mind was not in the right place.

So, to answer you question, the breast is attractive, and always will be. The manner of which it is displayed is what makes the difference.

Well, why are men allowed to go around shirtless? They show off more than the women do. If men can go around shirtless with big boobs and beer bellys i think it is only just for women to be able to do the same. Norms like that are what is constantly keeping women below men in society.

The ladies do what they do .. and RAther well, if I may say. Though a guys perception of the way they dress is just their individual opinion. You have to ask "why do they show so much". If they're happily married, then there's obviously a problem and if they're not then the attention they receive is probably why. If the lady in question isn't with you, then you look the other way and if she is with you, you look into her eyes not down her top.

I am not so sure how attractive it is anymore. I used to flunt my cleavage all the time, but in the past couple years I dont. I feel like I want people to talk to me not my chest. Why is it socially acceptable? I dont know, but remember the real function of the breast is to feed babies, not to be sexual objects.

200 years ago it was too much in the US to show an ankle. It is a social majority decision that happens slowly over time.

Breasts are not reproductive organs, not genitalia. Men show them - why shouldn't women? Just like knees, elbows, ankles, ears, eyes ... they're body parts. Get over it. :)

Well first of all I enjoy looking at that part of the body,
and why should it not be exposing if you as a male do the same thing! (which is not attractive at al)

Because men still think with their EYES, and women have learned that in many cases, flashing a bit of tit is enough to get them what they want.

Sad but true I am afraid.
