Father-in-law says this building brings good luck for you and your brother, so you musn't sell it to anybody.by the way the house is build with three floors including the four empty shops in the groundfloor. The children of some neighbors are so noisy, and scratch with metalsany car who park on the street unless the owner is there.we love any neighbors and we don't like to have a problem with anybody.but things are getting worser. What shall we do?

If the area is as nice as you first said, i.e. visually appealing, then the first step is to get some stores in your bottom floor. You may have to start with a lower lease then you like to get things rolling. Once you have a few businesses working there, you'll find you have at least one active tattle tale! That can bring an end to the kids damaging cars and making too much noise. The next thing is to evaluate the tenants. With the stores running, and the leases getting paid, you should have much more flexibility on who lives there. If someone is a problem tenant, and it's effecting you, your husband, and other tenants, kick them out. Give notice, end the lease, wait till it's up for renewal, how ever you want to do it. If you have stores running, a good open field of communication, and good tenants, then you shouldn't have any concerns with the building... though as we all know stress will find some where else to hit you.

Visitors always will admire your area not having the knowledge of what's going on once you learn after living in the area for awhile.

If the "father" has no control over the ownership of the building then there should be no consideration of whether you sell or not!

So you can't move and you don't want to stay. Then quit freakin whining and get proactive. Call the cops about the kids, press charges on people who damge your car, talk to your neighbors. Step up or step out.

Move. You need to be independent. The father sounds like he may have control issues.

it is not necessary to sell the house ,if i were in your place I'd ask my husband to lease the place and use the money to rent somewhere else.:)
