I believe that a lot of people don't see Bush and Clinton as the most admired people. I can think of many items that would be just cause to not admire either of them. What do you think? Please share your opinion and the reasoning for your opinion.

How either of them is admired more than people who have made real, tangible contributions to the betterment of mankind is totally beyond my comprehension. Bill and Melinda Gates - now those two I admire enormously. They are pouring billions into the eradication of malaria, which is the world's number one killer. Or people who have great - and simple to implement initiatives for alleviating hunger and poverty.

No politician I know of does anything bold because they are all in the back pockets of corporations, pharmaceutical companies and/or banks, who benefit from poverty, hunger and disease.

I heard that on Paul Harvey yesterday, and it illustrates why I have ignored the Most Admired list for literally decades now. If you look through the history of that lame award its pretty obvious that its been given to whatever individual has been mentioned in the media the most for that year, examples being former First Ladies who did nothing more than stand at their husbands side and smile.
