I appreciate my parents and I appreciate how they raised me.. BUT there are things that they've done and are doing that I don't appreciate either...
Like my mom not being there for us since I was 14, and still not really there ONLY when she wants to be or feels like it...

and my Dad has hurt me too buy taking earlier frustrations out on me(mental war games) and blabbing to my family behind my back abotu how an "evil" person I was just so he could have a pity party and play the victim. I will never forget that, and he's doing the same stuff with someone else now...

But I will always love them and appreciate how they used to be there for me and some of the things they do....

Plus they're getting a divorce and watching them let my little sister get away with murder all because they want her to go with themselves is not very good to see.

Have a Good One ^_^

They have all 4 passed on. Yes I did appreciate them all for one reason or the other. I loved them all.
My Mother the most. She was my rock. She was always there for me regardless & unconditionaly.
My Step Father I appreciated as much as I could, for the sake of my Mother. It was hard but I loved him.
My Father left my Mother for another women when I was 2. He wasn't in my life much until near the end of his. He never contributed to my support. He ignored me a lot. I loved him.

As the parent of 5 grown children, I appreciate what was done for me way back then much more now, then I did back then.
I wish I could share that with Mother but somehow I think she knew I would find that out.To much was taken for granted back then.
Take the time to let your loved ones know how much you appreciate them. Think now of what you would have done in the past in certain situations without so & so in your life ??

I do appreciate the things my parents have done for me over the years....although I think I sometimes don't do enough to show them how much I appreciate them. I have put them through a lot....especially with my health....and they are there for me to give me the right kind of support when I need them the most....especially my father.

Not really. My mom used drugs & drank while carrying me, and thus I have a heart murmur, for which I've already had 4 open-heart surgeries, and I didn't really start getting to know my dad until I was well into my 20's. However, my mom is now deceased (for 19 years), and I do miss her.

: )

I thank them for brining me into this world but the amount of money they spent on me is cancelled out by the abuse i had to take for 19 years and maybe not being born would be much better.

I was just thinking about this yesterday because I'm so scared of the future, I mean it's going to be 2008!
I'm dead scared, so yes, I appreciate them so much even though I'm like always mad at them or they're always mad at me. I feel like someday I'm going to regret it for not treating them as well as people should, so I'm a bit scared, as I have said.

But I love my parents. =]

I appreciate my mother for setting a mostly good example to me, and I appreciate my dad for how his sense of humor gave me one. I appreciate both of them for showing me the right way to go, and for helping me when I needed them most.
