Answer is 24 %.
Method 6+4=10 . This is total no of spaces used by Hank and Bonnie's buildings. Divide it by the spaces of entire area i.e 42 and multiply by 100.
So 10/42 * 100=23.80952381.
Rounding up 24%.

Total number of spaces taken up by both the buildings
= 6 + 4
=10

% taken up by both buildings
= 10 / 42 * 100
= 23.8% = 24%

So the answer is (B)

Hope that helps
