Yuck! He doesn't deserve the HR record. Steroids, just a mean guy. Who agrees?

Hate is a very strong word. I think if he had treated his fans better and had been nicer to the media.....People wouldn't have such strong negative feelings towards him.....even with the steriod issue!
I don't hate him, but I'm not a fan of his!

Don't hate the guy. He is the best player of the steroid era of baseball. Without the 'roids though he could have had about 550-600 HRs. He was never a media darling and by many accounts, yes a mean guy.

I hate Barry Bonds!! If he makes the Hall of Fame, Im going to me so mad!! Nobody deserves to be in the HOF if they have used steroids in their career!!!!!!

You bring up three issues; he is not a friendly guy and not liked by many people. We will see where the steroids issue goes and if he used them after the implementation of the drug testing program in 2002 and for HGH in 2005. You can't erase history and his homerun record will stand.

I don't really know the guy, except that he is a baseball player, so therefore I don't hate him. As for the home run record, he has hit more home runs than anybody in MLB history so therefore he does deserve it.

to say he is the best player of the steroid era makes me hate even more
saying he should keep the record promotes pplayers to use HGH and other stuff
to say "he is the best player of the steroid era" is like a contradiction in the statement

I don't hate anyone who has never offended me personally...but I really dislike Barry Bonds.
He's an arrogant self-absorbed cheater. I don't think anyone admires those qualities in a person.

Well, I can't give you all the names. Quite a few, me included. No, for his personality alone he doesn't deserve the record but he's got it. Mean. Mean like Ty Cobb and, man, what an immature personality.
