Squeeze Box (The Who song)

"Squeeze Box" is a song by The Who. "Squeezebox" is a slang term for accordions and related instruments, but it is also slang for vagina. The band wanted to see if they could get away with singing explicitly about the joys of sex. Written by Pete Townshend, the song was originally intended for a Who television special planned in 1974.

Cover Versions
It was covered by Laura Branigan on her 1983 album Branigan 2.
Slovenian-American accordionist Lynne Marie Rink covered the song.
The song is covered by English accordionists John Kirkpatrick and Chris Parkinson on their album Sultans of Squeeze.
Poison did a version of the song on the album Hollyweird in 2002, and again in 2007 on their album Poison'd, where all the tracks are cover songs.
Glam metal band Roxy Blue covered the song on their album Want Some? in 1992.
McBride & the Ride covered the song on their 2002 album Amarillo Sky.
The song was covered by Hash Clyde at their premiere gig, The New Haven Road Race.

Pop Culture References
The song is featured in the Freaks and Geeks episode Dead Dogs and Gym Teachers, where Mr. and Mrs. Weir preview a Who album to see if there are any objectionable lyrics.
In The Simpsons episode A Tale of Two Springfields, Homer reminds The Who of some of their songs, but mistakenly terms Squeeze Box as being an example of "the Angry Defiant Who".
An episode of Two and a Half Men which featured a spoof version of CSI, "Stiffs", used "Squeeze Box" as the theme song, parodying the practice of the CSI franchise of using Who songs as theme songs.

LYRICS:

Mamas got a squeeze box
Mamas got a squeeze box
She wears on her chest
She wears on her chest
And when daddy comes home
And when daddy comes home
He never gets no rest

cause shes playing all night
cause shes playing all night
And the musics all right
And the musics all right
Mamas got a squeeze box

Daddy never sleeps at night
Daddy never sleeps at night

Well the kids dont eat
Well the kids dont eat
And the dog cant sleep
And the dog cant sleep
Theres no escape from the music
Theres no escape from the music
In the whole damn street
In the whole damn street

cause shes playing all night
