Muslims now distrust us so much that they automatically assume the United States had a hand in Bhutto's assasination? Is this George W. Bush's legacy?

"Shame on the killer Musharraf, shame on the killer U.S." mourners cried, as her [Bhutto's] husband, Asif Ali Zardari, accompanied the closed coffin draped with the green, red and black tricolor of Bhutto's Pakistan People's Party on the funeral procession to the mausoleum in the village of Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.

It looks like I need to remind people that Bhutto was Pro-West, and the above quote was from her followers. You would think Bhutto's followers would be Pro-West, and even THEY don't trust the United States.

It's called the media. Just cause you read something in the newspaper or saw something on the news, that doesn't automatically mean it is actually as the report say it is. News Media's biggest concern is to get people paying attention to the news and buying newspaper subscriptions, so there first priority is to make money, not necessarily give you a actual break down of that happened. A newspaper could put anything on a headline and most people would be gullible enough to believe. So while there may be some legitimacy in saying that Arabs distrust America, or maybe even immediately say that the US had a hand in it. But if here in America a jetliner flew into the Golden Gate Bridge, every American would blame it on terrorists. We distrust their world just as much as they distrust ours, ergo we are insecure with each other and therefore we have tension and the propensity for violence.

Don't believe everything you read in the newspaper, the comics have more facts to them than the front page.

No only those muslims that the media finds who express opinions that match the action line :Bush is evil are ever repeated.
If 99 muslims said they trust the US and 1 said they didn't the headline would say "Some muslims distrust the US"
Fact is, Iraq and Afghanistan are the main reasons most muslims DO trust us. They have a chance at a freedom that neither they nor their forefathers have known.
The mainstream media has the same credibility to report the truth on anything that adolf hitler had in inter-ethnic relations.

Bush caused 9/11 and even the bridge collapse awhile back,
dido the fires in California and somehow got Hurricane
Katrina to change course and hit New Orleans.
Not to mention Godzilla's nesting in New York City instead
of the warm fields of Texas.

I don't think they get a realistic picture of us from their press and I don't think we get a fair or realistic view of them from our press. Keep in mind the media is there to sell their product using whatever sensational opportunistic hype they can whip up. So before coming to any conclusions you might want to sit down with a few of them and have a chat.
