Your questions are being posed to people all over the world. You must give people a frame of reference if you want good answers. For instance, the previous answers (probably correctly) assumed that you were from the UK. However, if you were from Cape Verde, that number would call Egypt.

020 is the general London code.
0207 is inner London and 0208 is outer London. However this is only general as when people move around they can move the number. The 0208 649 number is owned by BT. As There used to only be 0207 and 0208 but I believe 0203 has been relased which can cover both outer and inner London. As all 01 and 02 numbers are clased as national rate calls, or if you are in London in this case, Local calls. I suggest you just give them a call.
