the sims 2 problem, why does the environment bar?

appears to be red whenever any of my sims go to the garden? It is full with flowers, tables, bq, swimming pool, and plants!

how do I stop the weeds to grow? my garden is so huge!

i really hate weeds, even bushes create weeds. the only way to stop them from becoming too much trouble is if you only buy trees or use the cheat "move_objects on" and delete them whenever they pop out or delete the first one that'll sprout.

Hire a gardener. Use the phone>choose services>gardener.

If you have any weeds or dead flowers or untrimmed bushes the enviroment score will go down.

It's not an environment bar, it's a temperature bar. If it's going red, your Sim is exerting himself and getting hot (it goes red in the bathtub or shower, or when exercising). If it goes blue, he's getting cold (send him outside without his outerwear!). Both can be bad if they get in the extremes and stay there.

Weeds grow when there is an overabundance of water, so remove some of your sprinklers or stop overwatering the plants.

I don't know why it goes down, but if your weeds keep growing, call the gardner. you go to a phone, click call service and click gardner. i have to do this all the time.
