Well the target is achievable. There is no doubt about that.
If India plays whole 180 overs ( which are left in this test match) then we will surely win this match.
But the question is -
Will India play for 2 days ?
That's the challenge. The challenge is to be there for as long as possible.
Some big partnerships are required.
Most i8mportantly a good platform is required from our top order players.
Dravid-Jaffer - Laxman should handle the new ball properly & should not lose wickets.
This game now is all about saving wickets till the end.
Run rate is not going to be an issue in this game now for India.
It's all about wickets.
Australia needs 10 wickets & we have to deny those 10 wickets.
That's all we have to do.
Another thing, no team has ever chased a target of 499 in the history of this game.
So it's an uphill task for India.
It is possible.

Oh guy, that's barely a activity,in simple terms recover from it.we don't could desire to brag approximately prevailing,Sri Lankans are fairly satisfied as long as cricket is being performed,to no longer point out wearing some bottles to the floor to rejoice with the sport greater. we don't burn our gamers residences down regardless of in the event that they have been given overwhelmed by means of the Irish women folk team.i do no longer think of Mahela is the overconfident smug kind and for Mendis that's greater suitable than being interior the front traces, so assume them to play as prevalent,it is to the main suitable of their understanding. Win or lose, cricket = party to us Lankans. Mel do no longer say the curator of Galle ought to shop his mouth close,he's a ex attempt cricketer and he's conscious what the floor is like. Its his perfect to foretell the effect.

I sure hope so! Tough target and they haven't been perfoming well with 196 all out! But, anything can happen in a game of cricket! A team who needs 36 runs to win in an over can also win! That's why cricket is soooooooo intresting!!!!!!!!

After India's abysmal performance in the first innings, I don't see how they can get to 499. However, they do have the experience and the players to do it, they will all need to be in their best form. I really want to see Australia face a real challenge.

well india have soo much time and they just need a big partner ship to make like a 200 run partnership and also need to play sensible, not to take any risks and then we would be able to see india victorious.

the pitch is going to deteriorate and the bounce will become unpredictable.
I think the real question is how long can India hang on before losing ten wickets.
to answer your question, i think they will not do it. (all out for 275)
