when i open Internet explorer,after a few seconds an ad will pop-up into my screen from anywhere.Is there any way to stop it.I tried spybot search and destroy but it doent work.
please give me a brief answer.

Go here and download the avg antispyware tool and update it then scan your system;

also go here and run an online antivirus scanner, its called trendmicro housecall and its free and dont require you download anything, Just run it and see if you have a virus and if so you can remove it;

What does the pop up say?
Google the terms Smitfraud and Vundo infections and read about them.
You can also try the free Superantispyware.

clear your internet history - open IE go to tools and options on the advanced tab scroll down and tick empty temporary internet files on close
click apply
close IE and reopen that should do it

There is a software called NoAdware that deals with this garbage. It only has a one time fee to allow you to keep it.
