I used to walk everywhere. I did until I was 27. Then because of an emergency, I decided that I should probably learn in case another emergency happened and I was the only available driver to get some one to the hospital. So I did, but after a while I got so lazy it took forever to get back to where walking was a joy rather than a task.

I love it unless I run into traffic then a nice ride goes down the drain. Other than that how could I make it to work 6 miles in 20 minutes definitely not public transportation and walking wouldn't get it either. I would agree with your sister even if you don't do it regularly if someone gets hurt and your the only one their and they can't drive you would have to drive them to the hospital. Their benefits that come with learning to drive and getting a driver license. Good luck

I love driving like nothing else. Here in Boston I end up taking the T (subway) for convenience, ease, and financial reasons. But I have a car that I drive on weekends and it's really one of my favorite things to do (when I don't hit traffic). I'm not sure how old you are, where you live, or how coordinated you are, but you should know how to drive even if you don't plan to do it regularly. For bonus points, learn how to drive stick.

Do you need to drive? Are you bugging your sister for rides everyday? If not, it's up to you. Keep in mind, driving is expensive, insurance, gas, car payment repairs...it never ends

The gas that cars emit will lead to air pollution, which will slowly lead to global warming... Lol... =.=
