I believe it'll be Tony Peña... they havent made up their minds yet, but I think they'll go with Pena. If not him, then Chad Qualls. One of the two.

Right now it looks like the D-backs are going to give Tony Pena a shot at closer. He doesn't have much experience, but he looks to be the guy for now.

If he doesn't work out, they'll probably try Chad Qualls or possibly Brandon Lyon. However, even those two have combined for only 31 saves in 10 seasons.

As a Dbacker, I would like to see Brandon Lyon. I think he showed last year that he can come up big in tight spots. While I don't like the Valverde trade I understand that his value will never be more and you get back some valuable people that will restock the organization after the Haren trade (which I love).

Tony Pena hands down deserves a shot. Hes put up great numbers setting up for Valverde.
