No... way... Much rather have the hundreds and thousands, for the ammount of effort it takes, the hours they work, the LIVES they save... Most doctors, deserve everything they get.

Most likely your first year out of school you will make as much as an owner operator truck driver. The difference is your income will go up from there. Your assumptions are a little flawed. Doctors who want to earn more will always find a way to use their skills and training to make money. Even during the darkest part of the cold war there was a strong healthy underground economy in Russia. Smart doctors will make similar adaptations to succeed.

Are you trying to degrade the occupation of truck drivers? Without those truck drivers this country would be in a world of hurt. They distrubute things we need on a daily basis: food, clothing, building materials, fuel, etc. Don't be looking down your nose at truck drivers and feeling that some pompous person with an MD behind their name will somehow be put in a "lower class". That's disgusting.

I don't think the doctors in this country will have to sign up for welfare. I went to the doctor last week and the office call wasn't cheap. There is nothing wrong with truck drivers. They are hard working people just trying to make a living like every one else.

There is No Concrete Evidence that supports your rant.
However there are hundreds of thousands right now today that spend 6 to 10 years in college that emerge with varying degree's that make less than 15 dollars an hour.
It seems to me that we have our priorities twisted as it is.
We pay millions of dollars to Baseball, Football, Basketball players and fail to pay the educators of our children 100,000 dollars a year. this is disgraceful to say the least.
I doubt that doctors are being hurt as much as many other professions, only by the insurance companies that charge there exorbitant premiums for Insurance to cover Mal Practice
If I were you I would get my facts straight , rather than just pre suppose that a political front runner was going to impose rules on a specific Profession with NO PROOF.

sometimes learning isn't about the money you will make.
it is often about the desire to learn, about everthing.
i'd go ten years just because i had the opportunity. period.
seems you need to read up a wee bit more on healthcare in general. it is lacking in the US. Submit a better plan, any plan and then you can be heard and taken seriously.
All right ....what would you do regarding healthcare?
Keep Hilary out of the discussion BMOC, and tell YA what you would do.

are you denegrating Truck Drivers? every thing around you everything you posses has ben transported by a truck. think about it. they produce something. Doctors train for years, but whats different today when you have to mortgage your house to have physical. i think Doctors should be well paid but how much is enough? truckers can make $100,000 a year but they produce many more times that in value.

Exactly...or like in China you'll have to wait two hours after having a heart attack before getting admitted to a hospital and end up dying. I'm not sure what the rationale is behind someones thought process to give more programs and responsibility to the government, when they can't get the one's they have now right!!!!!!
