You know, a person might be tempted to jump right in & say "yea, she's crazy", if there weren't lots of other recorded instances where people have been known to pick up on radio waves in one way or another!!! It's definetly one of those strange phenomena that requires more investigation & careful study!!!

It may depend upon how close one is to the transmitter although Myth Busters evidently 'busted' the myth. It is a little like proving to someone else that you can see a new color. A good experiment would be to compare a recording of the broadcast with a transcript prepared by the person with the sensitive tooth (after proving they have no other source).

Your first responder is nuts. Radio waves are unlikely to reason a steel lamp to vibrate, and bring sound waves from radio waves without demodulation. you need to do slightly extra analyze into the reason for what you're listening to. Radio waves, mutually as they'd, and do, carry human voice, are unlikely to be demodulated in an undemanding steel lamp stand.

If is arranged in a particular frequency strand able to pick up either FM or AM waves of course it is possible, but would this be created using metal fillings in your teeth not likely. you would need gold, silicon, and either iron or aluminum arranged in particular strands, as well as a means to amplify the sound in order to be heard.

It has been known to happen, but in the particular case of this relative, it is very easily tested. The result of that test will be far more convincing than any theoretical argument.
