The meaning of life is only shown at the last moments before death, and we think....how much was it worth?
I think you are going to end up keeping that million.

Difficult question :)

Mankind is looking that since ages and ages.
Religion, faith philophies try to give the proper answer.
We can see as it was no meaning, we born and live by accident and there is no life after death, can be a legitime believe or path, but we handle this way path until we get old?

The "problem" is humankind has conscience, not has animals, they dont ask abt that?
and we dont ask either what the meaning the life that pet or other animal.
Or you dont ask the meaning of life a big tree that gives you shadow? you happy that tree exists and can enjoy shadow and oxygen.
But if they exist is for something and during the time we are here as also animals we pass let something in others and change something after all.

All we die in the end, but during the time this human kind exists, nature exists, even our sun exists, so, life is running, a process is going by, during that good and bad things can happen, that's where exatly remains the meaning of life, exactly the miracle of life itself, its energy , no matter the shapes it will have, its life !.

What is the meaning/purpose of life?

Ones purpose in life must be to enjoy all worldly pleasures, while persevering the virtues the heart whisper to the mind. Thus leavening the earth in a state of vigor and fertility upon ones demise.

Throughout life one must not take time to fear death nor ponder life’s purpose, for these fears and question will surely be answered upon ones end.

To do less would surely be a forsaken moment in time.

The meaning of life has been mine to evaluate for the last 28 years. As an artist, worldly views have corrupted my chance to see things like most others. Now, I believe the meaning of life is to serve God. To obey and praise. Learn and seek. Deliver and receive the almighty truth as a spirit filled human being... Amy.

To enjoy the fact that the meaning of life is as complex and diverse as humanity itself. There can be no one meaning to it, for everybody sees things from different points of view; everybody experiences life from different environments.

If that's the case, it's vanity to discuss what the meaning of life is because it's as subjective as the Truths that we perceive.

But the beauty of it all is that we can learn from each other; and the fact that in spite of the possibility that we may never arrive at a single concrete definition or meaning of life, we can at least come closer into understanding what it is for us and for others.

Just popped out of my head. :-)

We are here to learn, to give, to love, surrender and be grateful to God, Grasshopper. If you do not accomplish these things, you will be doomed to come back again and again until you have perfected your tasks. Until at last, you will attain full understanding and complete happiness; Heaven, if you will. Got it? Keep your million.

You are put on earth for one purpose. To find the true church, have the saving ordinances performed, and to follow the Savior, keep His commandments, and to return with honor to our Heavenly Father with our families sealed to us forever.
