It is afflicting itself for some reason. It may have a real reason and is justified or it may have a neurosis that makes it enjoy being in pain, or maybe the pain is actually the result of some disharmonious activity where loved ones are involved and one is unable to control the situation. Who but you really knows what or why it hurts. But when it hurts so does the rest of the universe in a way. Because at that level there is a Personality buried deep within the cosmic existence that responds interestingly and precisely to broken and painful hearts. So real help for your painful heart is not far away. You will see and find someone who will help you with it if it comes to that.

there is nothing wrong with your heart per se, unless you are having a heart attack! Melancholy maybe, a desire to return to an origin of something intimate.
