Yes currently I'm 27 weeks pregnant. I had an ultrasound at 19 weeks where we all thought I'd be finding out, but unfortunately, the baby "wasn't in the right position". It was moving around A LOT and I was in there for like an hour. But no luck. I'm still trying to find a place where I can have another one done because the suspense is killing us!! So good luck to your daughter although there are no guarantees.

Yeah; through ultrasound you;ll know weather the baby is a boy or a girl. But sometimes during the ultrasound the baby will close their legs so; it can;t be identified.

Oh, yeah ... it was just over 20 years ago when I was at work, waiting for my (then) wife to call about the ultrasound results.

Ring, ring, ring!

"Hello, Daddy," came the alto voice I knew so well.

"It's a boy ...

"... and a girl."

It took quite a while before I was able to speak coherently.

YES! It'd drive me crazy for the remaining months! But, sometimes just counting ten fingers/toes and charting normal growth is enough to keep an expectant Mommy happy.

I would like to think I would want to wait but the suspense would kill me.

Congrats on your future grand-daughter/son!

When my boys were in gestation I did not want to know, the suspense was killing me, but I wanted to be surprised when they were born.

I guess it would help in buying all the things the baby will need, but I would rather be surprised.

I guess on one hand knowing would be good so you knew what clothes to but & what colour to paint the Nusery but personally I wouldn't want to know till He/She arrives.
