Yes, they are already good with the trio of KG, Allen and Pierce. Rondo seems to be someone who would improve due to the environment the trio brings to the table, plus they do have an ok depth at bench(even though they could still use a lot of improvement for their bench bar posey). They are good enough for their division and conference to be a contender for the eastern conference title this season.
And they also are in a weak division as of now. Toronto seems to be their only possible division rival since the rest are below the .500 record (Nets, Knicks and Philly).

Both. They're good, and they're in a pretty weak division.
If they were in a Western conference divison, who knows how their record would be. But you cant doubt a team with Garnett, Pierce, and Allen... especially when they've bought a defensive-minded concept to their team's game, along with their good passing and ball movement on offense.
It's hard to say just how legit their success has been... as many people are quick to point out that their division is a little weak and that they've had the easiest schedule so far in all of the NBA. They've really only faced one championship caliber-team this year, and they lost that game to the Pistons. The only two other teams they've lost to are the Cavaliers (defending Eastern Conf. champs) and the Magic (good team this year). They're other wins have all come against sub .500 teams.
2008 is gonna be a fun year to follow the Celtics, to see how Boston actually matches up against the Western Conference teams and in rematches with the Pistons.

They are in a weak conference, not just division.
Everyone is talking like they've already clenched a Finals berth. They havent done anything except beat crappy teams.
Just wait til they have to play the powerhouses in the West like Utah, Dallas, San Antonio, and Phoenix. If they do go to the Finals they will probably face San
Antonio and lose. Duncan owns Garnett, Bowen owns Ray Allen, and hardly any one in the NBA let alone on the Celtics team can keep Tony Parker out of the lane.

yes its true they have an easiest schedule and a weak division but lets look at it this way. The Celtics have beaten teams that the Western Conference Power House lose to.
They beat the Hawks (who beat both Suns and Dallas)
They beat the Kings (who beat SA)
...etc the list go on.
Basically what i'm trying to prove is that they easily beat the team the western conf . team might have trouble with and keeping a 23 - 3 record isn't so easy to do. They only lose to the above average team so far.

They're good, but not as good as everyone thinks they are. They play the Big 3 heavy minutes, while other teams use their benches, the they try to pump themselves up by running up the score on crappy teams. We all see what happens when they play championship caliber teams like Detroit, and contenders like Cleveland and Orlando....they LOSE.

they are great! they are in the same division that was kicking their @$$ the past years. all of a sudden, they're winning games and people question how good they are. the real test will be out west during this road trip. and most importantly, that gamer in texas against the powerhouse teams. but they are good and their record speaks volume. KG is not even having monster numbers and yet, they destroy teams. the same goes for ray allen and paul pierce

They are VERY good.
I'm not saying that because I'm from Boston and I'm a Boston Celtics fan but Celtics have three All-Star Players and their bench team is AMAZING. Posey, House, Powe, and especially Davis. These guys work together great.
Celtics has definitely improved greatly and I am proud of it. =]

They have excellent team chemistry even I thought that they will not be a good team with so much superstars in it. their 23-3 ( so far ) is hell of a record. They are strong
