yes . human nature will have us believe in anything --- so long as we wish for it .
the sad , harsh reality is , you have to work hard for your wishes to come true ( for the most part ) there is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow --- buts it's nice to ' pretend ' that maybe , just maybe ; your wish will come true . good luck .

i always wish for possible things...but when i'm too desperate, i can wish for impossible things...even though i know that those wishes will never come true...i just hope for it...i love hoping for impossible things,then just get hurt at the end...

There have been a few times in my life when I wished for what I knew was beyond my access. I am however, a realist, and even though I daydream occasionally, I still am aware that what I would like to have happen is very unlikely to happen.

No I feel that I wish for the reasonable. I've wised up in my old age and make it so that I don't strive for something I will not get and then suffer being disappointed.
