my home computer is equipped with verizon dsl and i have a wireless laptop. am fed up with my neighbours. i really will want someone to tell me in plain english exactly what i need and step by step way to get connection to my laptop wireless... i know i might need a router.... i have seen these usb cards will that work... anyways.. please someone tell me how to go abt this... i will love to move around my house effortlyless with no wires. thanks alot

You need to connect a wireless router/modem to the line in place of your modem. Then connect the wired machine to one of it's lan ports, and the laptop can use the wireless.

if you are not using versalink327 or actiontec then u really need a router.

the cord related into ur pc is the place your dsl comes from. u can plug that into ur workstation, or u can get a router with instantaneous applications, and plug that into the router, then the router will provide information superhighway to ur workstation. then plug a cord from the router to the pc and then u have information superhighway on the two, so circulate to radioshack or soemthign and ask some router.
