No, but you better be older and have a really good excuse. my friend got one unmarried at 22, but he got a girl pregnant, and she had an abortion. He was positive he never wanted children...... they went ahead and did it.

There are no specific requirements. The doctor or clinic may make their own requirements, but that is their right. They can refuse anyone for any reason. Just go to a different office.
I had mine done at 21, with no children. I have some single friends, under 25, that had them (no children). You just have to find the right doctor. It might help to lie, claiming that you have children, or are married. They won't ask for any proof, and they can't legally ask for your wife's approval.
Not wanting children is not a mental issue or anything. It just means you don't want them. My brother is the same way, and he is a mental health professional. When I first attempted to get one in about 1986 people thought I was a mental case. Well I succeeded in 1989!

a million. No, intercourse isn't a sin after he marries. He could or won't sense referred to as to have the vasectomy reversed. 2. Having a fertility organ bumped off using maximum cancers is in no way a sin, neither is intercourse with one's better half afterwards. 3. intercourse is in simple terms a sin for Catholics if it occurs exterior of marriage OR if one better half forces it on the different. man made beginning administration and intentional sterilization (to no longer save your existence using maximum cancers) are sins, however the intercourse that follows does not be different than under those 2 circumstances.

Unmarried single and even young men are able to get vasectomies. Sometimes a doctor will give a man a hard time, but it is absolutely nothing compared to a young single woman trying to get her tubes tied. A marriage certificate is not required.

they dont grill you are something. a doctor may advise you, but if you are sure, they will do it. it doesnt take a marriage certificate or anything. just go see your doctor, but think it over carefully. though there is an operation to undo it, the success rate is kind of low and it is very expensive, so you have to treat this as forever. i was always afraid of kids, made excuses like this worlds too much of a mess, but once i had one, he changed my life. kids are great. think carefully before you make that choice, because some day you might meet the right woman and you two might want kids.

I had mine done just two months ago. I only ever went to one clinic, and they gave me what I wanted. I am 25, with no children, and have never been married.
I had it done at a not-for-profit clinic. I paid cash for it. That makes a big difference. They never asked if my "wife" approved. They asked if I, "had all the children I wanted", but never asked how many. The number I have is zero, so the answer was "yes".

My cousin got one at 18, before he was married, and that was 21 years ago. He knew he never wanted children. And his girls friend at the time, now wife didn't either.
Doctors don't give men as hard of a time as they do women. I am sure if this is something you want, you can find a doctor that will do it. Unlike women who have to fight with their doctors to have their tubes tied, if they are younger, or don't already have children.
And being married has nothing to do with it.

No, but they will strongly discourage it. I've known many men that have tried to have it reversed once they found a woman they loved and decided , well maybe I do want a child. And the woman has had miscarriages, he had low sperm count, etc. Unless you are over the age of 35, have several children already, OR ABSOLUTELY THE THOUGHT OF CHILDREN MAKES YOU WANT TO DIE then don't do it.

I had mine when I was 25 and single, but it took alot of convencing to the doctor, but afterwards it does take awhile to flush out the live sperm left, so use protection until you prove sterile, they test you periodicaly after the surgery, so be sure and get it confirmed, otherwise you could still create a child.

I have not heard of any regs regarding being unmarried and getting a vasectomy.
I was unmarried and 25years old when I had my tubes tied.
If you are married, then you need your spousal signature.
